Scope: Performed comprehensive QRA and SIL validation for 12+ Kuwait Oil Company facilities, including major Water Management and New Desalter Train projects.
Software Used: Utilized PHA-Pro 8 for HAZOP/LOPA and ORBIT SIL for verification.
Technical Impact: Calculated failure rates, Probability of Failure on Demand (PFD), and Risk Reduction Factors (RRF) to meet numerical risk targets (10−4 to 10−5 failures per year).
High-Integrity Fire & Life Safety (72MW Substation)
Scope: Led the design, engineering, and commissioning of Fire & Gas Detection, VESDA, and Fire Suppression systems for KOC’s 72MW Main Intake Substation.
Compliance: Ensured full adherence to NFPA, IEC, and API standards for critical electrical infrastructure.
ICSS & HIPPS Mega-Project Implementation
•Scope: Field Engineering Specialist for $1 Billion+ EPC mega-projects, including Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) and Fire & Gas upgrades.
Collaboration: Partnered with global EPCs like SK Engineering, Daelim Industrial, ABB, and Petrofac.
Key Achievement: Testing and commissioning of High-Integrity Pressure Protection Systems (HIPPS) and Sectionalized Valve Stations for strategic gas pipelines.
Industrial IoT & Cloud Digital Transformation
Scope: Custom-coded “Edge-to-Cloud” integration bridge connecting legacy Rockwell PLCs to the MS Azure Cloud.
